Request a room away from the pool area for a quieter stay, as noise can be disruptive during peak hours.

Ample on-site recreational facilities, comprehensive children's entertainment, convenient tram access
Outdated decor everywhere!!! Lift too small for more than two people, often leaving guests waiting in frustration!!! Cleanliness in bathrooms needs a serious upgrade to be acceptable!!!

Loved the stay, fantastic food!
The staff were super friendly, and the food was way better than expected! Had an amazing Sunday dinner. Room 58 was clean, but the TV was a pain since it didn’t face the bed. Great location with tram stops right outside!

great entertainment but room needs updating
The entertainment during our stay was exceptional, with engaging performances that suited all ages. The staff were consistently pleasant, especially Louise and Dawn, who made every effort to assist us whenever needed.
The room was starting to show signs of wear, which affected our overall comfort during the stay.

I stayed at the Doric for 2 nights and had a mixed bag of experiences. The outdoor pool area caught my attention. it was well maintained, which made for a pleasant time soaking up the sun. The food quality impressed me as well, both breakfast and dinner offered a decent variety, and the half-board option seemed like good value. I appreciated that the hotel staff were generally quite friendly and helpful, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. On the downside, some common areas felt outdated, especially the indoor pool with its strong chemical smell. My room was on the smaller side and not as clean as I'd hoped – I found a used item under the bed, which was quite unsettling. the layout left much to be desired. I had difficulty navigating around the furniture without bumping into things. there’s potential here, but the hotel could use some refurbishment to match its pricing and advertised amenities.

The lounge's new decor is simply beautiful, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere, while the easy access throughout the hotel makes it senior-friendly. My room was spotless, well-decorated, and perfect for unwinding after a long day.
More seating in common areas, please.

I recently spent a delightful weekend at the Doric Hotel in Blackpool. The family room was spacious and impeccably clean, making it a comfortable base for our adventures. The quality of food at the restaurant impressed us, and the entertainment options kept our evenings lively. Minor delays in breakfast service were noted but didn’t overshadow the enjoyable experience.
