Location excerlent Breakfast staff were very friendly&helpfull
Car parking a little to inadiquate for number of guests Some rooms look like they have been updated, but the floor boards in our room no 80 was very noisey poor people in rooms below???
food was very good hotel was nice and quite
The hotel is clean, the staff is working hard to make their guests happy. Diner and breakfast were both very good. Very nice indoor swimming pool. Excellent value for money.
Although very clean, the bathrooms could do with more powerfull shower....our bedroom was very small, 1 bed was very comfortable, the other one needs changing!
The doric is just far enough away from the hussle and bussle of the Blackpool crowd. But near enough to jump on a tram and enjoy the beach and pier entertainment and then retreat again to the nice relaxing atmospher
Liked everthing the room and the food the staff it was a lovely weekend.
Rooms were shabby and dated. Corridors v narrow and smelt stale. Shower door did not close properley, water leaked all over the floor. Bathroom door did not close properley. The room was like a sauna, bed uncomfortable. Brekfast was v average.
The staff were really helpful, Rooms very clean. The food was excellent and really good value for money. Stayed with family, my mother in law is unstable and uses a frame and wheel chair. Have stayed twice once with 14 yr old son and once with older family will definately stay again.
The only thing missing was a disabled toilet, as the access to the toilets were narrow.
A nice quiet and friendly hotel.
The hotel seemed to be more for the older clientel.
Nice clean place food ok staff helpfull
Enjoyed our stay at the Doric Hotel as a family. My daughter age 5 enjoyed the magic show and disco, the horse racing and balloon modeling. Disapointed on arrival as the receptionist told us we hadn't booked for an evening meal, i had done on Booked.net as my father is diabetic and needs to have a evening meal, also my uncle who was with us has downs sysdrome and is recovering from two hip replacements doesn't want to be walking around Blackpool looking for a restaurant. We managed to get booked in eventually cost Adults £12.95 and Children £6.95 so it ended up working out costly.
Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Close proximity to the centre of Blackpool. Quiet of hotel at night.
The room was clean and we had a sea view.Tram stops just opposite the Hotel. Food was good with generous breakfast. Staff all friendly and helpful. TV had subtitles.
Ensuite a little small. No wi-fi.
Good family hotel - very clean and well kept rooms - staff very friendly
We loved the indoor and outdoor pools, and are planning another trip back
The bar stopped serving hot snacks apart from toasties at 6pm
Very good peaceful location but directly on the Promenade with tram stop directly opposite so good for those perhaps with mobility problems. Hotel room small but comfortable with all necessary facilities and very quiet and peaceful which is what we asked for! Good as the Hotel was very busy.
